How do I post an offer to sell?

Step 1

Click the Sell Scrap Button on top. On the left menu click Post Sell Offer under selling tools. Also you can get to this page from "My RIM" by clicking the Post Sell Offer on the left menu.

Step 2

Select the suitable main category of scrap and wait for the page to refresh. Select the subcategory.

If you don't find a match in the subcategory use the ' other' option and enter the type of scrap in the text box.

Provide accurate details with a detailed description, say Price, Payment conditions, Availability, Quantity etc

You can leave the Price field blank for "PRICE ON REQUEST" ( POR)

You can also receive SMS alerts for your Sell offer.

You can also receive SMS alerts for your Sell offer. Now RIM offering free SMS inquires for both sell offer and buy offer. To receive SMS alerts all you have to do is you have to add your mobile number by clicking the update Mobile Number in the "My RIM" section. By clicking the link which will take you to next page where you have to provide your mobile number with your country code. After clicking the update button you will receive an SMS message from us within 15 minutes with a 4 digit confirmation number in your mobile phone. Enter the four digit conformation number to activate your SMS alerts. Now you are completely eligible to receive SMS alerts for both of your buy/sell offers. Once you completed providing your sell offer select the check box in the bottom of the description message box. Then you will able to receive SMS alerts for the sell offer in your mobile.

Click the Next button

Step 4

You will be directed to the preview page with your contact details filled in automatically. If your contact details are different from which you have provided during registration, make the necessary changes. Once you are finished press Post button.

You can also upload a photo (only 1 image less than 100 kb) by clicking the browse button and selecting the image from your computer. Click upload image, and your offer to sell will be posted successfully with the photo. * There is no restriction on the size of the photo's for Premium members.
